New Club improvements: the results

#includeResource("Skel.ArticleHeader") We received about 100 answers after the article "New improvements for the Club". and today the result is: 3,7,4,2,8,6,1,5,9. We will start to work on these improvements on july with the HTTP and FTP download platform, which should be ready on august or september.

The results :

3- Improve HTTP and FTP download Create a dynamic page as there is for the free version. Create deltas of ISOs and patch the preceding ISO. Dynamic page with a list of the club HTTP mirrors which are up. Check the ISO included in each directory.

7- Mirror Finder Module that works properly. RPM Search engine that works properly.

4- More up-to-date commercial drivers, etc.

2- Improve the RPM voting - RPM Farm system

8- Work on the look and feel of rpms.mandrivaclub.com

6- urpmi repository for real demos: games, business software, plugins...

1- Work on the language consistency. If you choose English, only English should appear. French > French, etc.

5- MDV's own Jabber server To replace the Java chat applet and provide a communication channel for Club members and staff.

9- Tip of the day An upload system allowing members to upload tips. The tip of the day will appear on the Club and can also be sent via email.
