Full 6-CD Powerpack release available for Standard members

Mandriva Club Standard members are usually given access to a special edition of each release consisting of the first four CDs of the Powerpack (the full Powerpack is six CDs).

However, for Mandriva Linux 2007, we found that some very important packages were placed on the fifth and sixth CDs: i586 users may have noticed that the task-3ddesktop package is unavailable on the four CD edition, rendering the 3D desktop support non-functional until the package is installed by other means, and x86-64 users will probably have noticed that the 'rpmdrake' and 'drakconf' packages (which contain the graphical software installation / removal tools and the Mandriva Control Center, respectively) were missing.

To resolve these problems, we are now giving Standard members access to all six CDs of the Powerpack edition.

Standard members should find that their My Torrents page now includes the fifth and sixth CDs, and that they are available on the FTP / HTTP download mirrors (some FTP / HTTP mirrors may take a short time after the posting of this message to make the change).

We advise all Standard members to download all six CDs of the Powerpack and use them in future installations to avoid any missing package issues with the installation.

Please note that the DVD edition is still available only to Silver and above level members.
