The GNOME version of Mandriva Linux 2008 One has been released and is now available via BitTorrent or from the mirror sites. Featuring all the same great new features as the other editions of Mandriva Linux 2008, with a fully up-to-date GNOME 2.20 desktop. Hope this makes all our GNOME-using members happy!

J'ai rectifié le lien torrent, il fonctionne à présent.

Interesting that the "via Bit Torrent" link ( http://torrent.mandriva.com/public/http://torrent.mandriva.com/public/mandriva-linux-2008-one-GNOME-cdrom-i586.torrent ) in the announcement was dead but the link from NZark above ( http://torrent.mandriva.com/public/mandriva-linux-2008-one-GNOME-cdrom-i586.torrent ) worked for me. I choose to install the gnome desktop from the 2008 powerpack dvd which I downloaded this week, but found no joy in loading it. I would like to evaluate the Gnome desktop and hope this works. The KDE from the DVD is great!

Where is the download link (not Torrent) to the GNOME version?

Besides the others ISO : ftp://ftp.free.fr/mirrors/ftp.mandrake-linux.com/Mandrakelinux/official/iso/2008.0/

But you should use torrent, it's faster.
