Mandriva relaunches the OS Refugee discount program

As you probably read last week, the EU thinks Microsoft is illegally restricting choice in the operating system market. No, wait - make that still illegally restricting choice in the operating system market. Well, Mandriva agrees, and so to do our bit to help people escape the Microsoft monopoly, we're bringing back the previously successful OS Refugee promotion. From today, anyone with a licence for any commercial operating system can trade it in and receive a 30% discount on Mandriva Linux 2008 Powerpack, Mandriva Flash 2008, or a Powerpack subscription (access to download the latest Powerpack edition at any time for twelve months). This is a great way to encourage your friends and acquaintances to try life outside the Microsoft monopoly - they can try out Mandriva for free, and then trade in their Windows license for any of the great commercial Mandriva products.
