This step only shows if you have chosen to reuse existing Linux partitions.
Listed here are the existing Linux partitions detected on your hard drive, with the corresponding associated mount point. If you are unsure, just keep the automatic settings.
Each partition is listed as follows: “Name”( “Capacity”, “Detected mount point”, “File System Type”).
If you make any changes, you must at least define a root partition ( /
). Do not choose too small a partition or you will not be able to install enough software. If you want to store your data on a separate partition, you will also need to create a /home
partition (only possible if you have more than one Linux partition available).
