 Many users have been asking us about the lack of CD versions of the Free and Powerpack editions of Mandriva Linux 2007 Spring. These versions are currently being created and tested and will be made available as soon as they pass testing. UPDATE: The CD versions should be tested and made available in June.

RPM voting restored and new RPM catalogue browser released!

 As you probably noticed, the RPM farm was under maintenance since a few weeks. It is now up again, featuring a simplified voting system. Each Club member gets 10 votes per week for electing new software that should be packaged into the Mandriva distribution. The new RPM farm also features a catalogue of the Mandriva RPMs integrated into the Club interface. This catalogue will be further improved during the Spring.

Mandriva has launched the 4GB version of Mandriva Flash, its live flash drive! Mandriva Flash 2GB, which was released in December 2006, was a true success. It was sold out in less than two weeks! Mandriva has listen to user feedback and decided to develop a new version of its best seller flash drive.
